What We Tune: ECU vs. TCU Explained
We adjust the software in your car’s two main “brains” to make sure the engine and gearbox work perfectly together:
1. Engine Control Unit (ECU) Software Tuning
The ECU is the engine’s brain. We carefully adjust its settings to control the basics of engine power:
Fuel & Air Mixture: We fine-tune how much fuel is injected and when.
Ignition Timing: We adjust when the spark plugs fire to maximize power from every fuel burn.
Turbo/Boost Pressure: We safely increase the air pressure going into the engine for more power.
Engine Limits (Rev/Speed): We can adjust engine speed limits for better performance where safe and legal.
2. Transmission Control Unit (TCU) Software Tuning
